In our latest episode of, "Governor Knows Best," today our glorious leader reported that Nevada hospital beds are at 61% capacity. For anyone who knows the hospital business, this is about 20-25% lower than a typical day. Further, 52 people have died of the virus. In 2018 (a bad flu year) the NV mortality rate for flu/PN was 5.6%...the rate for this virus is 3.0%. Golf course, construction sites and pot dispensaries are still open which exposes the folly of shutting down the economy of the entire state. Playgrounds are roped off in crime tape, no one can get a haircut and cops are actually writing fines for small businesses. In 2018, 69 pedestrians died in the state...a great year after 98 were killed in 2017. The National Guard is roaming around and the Governor is looking for his next strategy to trample our rights and cripple the state. He makes idiot decisions and then begs and taxes his way to cover up his incompetence. It's a mess.
In BC, Canada hospitals have made beds available by cancelling non essential surgeries. Since the economy is mostly shutdown, there are fewer road accidents & fatalities, which frees up hospitals for others.
